Saving money is more important than ever since money doesn't stretch quite as far as it did in years past. Making lunch for your children is worth the effort on so many levels.
If you shop at Costco, lucky you! They have a massive amount of organic options. As a kid, I remember an unspoken feeling of love was when my mom put a bit of effort into my lunch. We would get treats like "ants on a log" which consisted of celery sticks covered with peanut butter and raisins. Being from the south... at least once a week a pimento cheese sandwich, with the crusts cut off, would make it's way into my Bugs Bunny lunch box. I still remember the smell of opening a lunch box..... didn't matter whose it was or what was in it.... they all smelled the same. (It still smells like love to me)
